The Non-Concensus

I was sick all weekend, including Friday, which I had taken as a vacation day. Ugh!

Anyway, here's an interesting post on a subject more touchy than religion. I was going to say politics, but it's inextricably linked - and has become a religion of its own.

More Than 650 International Scientists Dissent Over Man-Made Global Warming Claims

I'm just throwing that out there. I'm all for conserving energy, reducing waste, recycling, etc. but I'm not a big fan of the global warming hysteria. We have to deal with any climate change that comes our way, but I don't think we need to jump into a global carbon-credit economy that just shifts wealth and blame around while not even reducing global carbon output.

In unrelated news, England had their coldest start of winter since 1976 and it snowed in New Orleans and Houston last Thursday (google those yourself, ya lazy bums). I know - that's a side effect of man-made global warming.

It's 1 degree in my home-town today. Brrrrr. At least it's a "dry cold" :~}
